The sense of sight
Trisha Santos
Beholding beautiful things
Seeing awful happenings
Carefully watching for the things intended
Facing the reality through this sense
Gazes upon the stars
Wonders to the skies
What it should see?
What it shouldn’t see?
You can actually appreciate,
or disregard what it sees
There are times when you have no choice,
But to open it widely
Colors enlighten the sense
Wonder invades and reigns
Pleasant sights it remains
Terrible views it avoids
They say it’s the most used in the 5 senses,
I must say it should not be abused
For God has given this sense,
to see his wondrous creation
You are blessed if you can see
Others don’t flee;
Flee their weaknesses,
And rejoice in bliss
